Discovering music through play
Music Monkeys specialises in music education for young children. Through classes, workshops and concerts, children are free to explore — in their own way and at their own pace. They discover every aspect of music through play: singing, playing instruments, listening and moving. Musical development is at the heart of everything we do, while all other areas of development are nurtured at the same time.
We take a holistic approach and work closely with parents and caregivers, as well as early childhood professionals in nurseries and preschools, to help give children a musical upbringing.
Josette and her international team are trained in how young children learn music. They also understand how music can support language, motor skills, connection, concentration and joy.
Our classes are suitable for both Dutch- and English-speaking families and can be taught bilingually. Because we use music, movement, demonstration and songs without words, children and adults can join in naturally — even if they do not yet speak Dutch.
